Crockpot Chili Mac

Crock Pot Chili Mac:

Ingredients: 1 lb. ground turkey 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 15oz can diced tomatoes (i used fire roasted tomatoes)

2 bell peppers (I used Red and Orange) chopped 2 cups chicken broth 1 tbsp chili powder ½ tsp cumin Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup nutritional yeast flakes 8 oz elbow macaroni uncooked Desired toppings: cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, corn chips

Directions: 1. Place ground turkey in the bottom of the slow cooker and break into smaller chunks. Stir in remaining ingredients except for the pasta and nutritional yeast. 2. Cover and cook for 4-6 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low. In the last 15 min of cooking, stir in the uncooked pasta and cover. Stir and test to see if pasta is to your liking. When pasta is done, add nutritional yeast to crockpot to get that creamy cheesy texture and taste. 3. Serve immediately with desired toppings. (OR put into meal prep containers and eat for meals all week like me.)
